After waiting 52 long seasons, the Philadelphia Eagles have finally won the Super-Bowl. They defeated the defending Super-Bowl champions the New England Patriots, 41-33. Nick Foles was named Super-Bowl 52 MVP!
This was one of the best Super-Bowls in recent memory it was good from start to finish. The Patriots were behind most of the game until late fourth when they took the lead 33-32 but the Eagles were able to go down field and retake the lead late 38-32. Tom Brady had little bit over two minutes left to go down field and get a game winning touchdown but the Eagles denied him of that by getting a strip sack fumble recovered by rookie, Defensive End, Derek Barnett. The Eagles got the ball and were able to add to their five point lead, leading 41-33 with just over two minutes left. Tom Brady threw a Hail Mary with two seconds that was incomplete and the Eagles celebrated their first ever Super-Bowl championship in franchise history.
