On Sunday night, the Philadelphia Eagles came into Los Angeles with a record of 6-7 and a 13-point underdogs and they left Los Angeles 7-7 after defeating the Rams 30-23 on Sunday Night football. The Eagles, went into the game without their franchise quarterback, Carson Wentz who was out with a back injury and is likely done for the season with two games remaining; Nik Foles will remain the starter this Sunday in the home finale against the Houston Texans.
This was the Eagles best game of the season as this was a team effort win. The defense played their best game of the season as they're able to pick off Jared Goff two times; special teams were able to force a fumble late in the game on a punt return. Nick Foles, didn't play great or was he bad but he played good enough to help us win the game.
I was really impressed from what I saw from this team, it was like a whole different team out there, compared to how they've been playing all season. This was probably the best coached game this season by Doug Pederson, as his play-calling was simple, they run the ball well and the passing game was alright. Can this team rally behind Nick Foles again? Is it to little to late to make a run? For at least one more week the Eagles are still in the playoff race for either the division or the 6th seed wild card spot. It will take them to win out and other teams to lose in order for them to sneak into the playoffs in the NFC.
