On Sunday afternoon in South Philly, the defending champions saved their season by beating the New York Giants, 25-22 sweeping the two games. Jake Elliott hit the game-winning 43-yard field goal with 22 seconds left. They had to fight their way back as they were down 19-3 in the first half. It was really a tale of two halves, in the first half the Eagles seem like they're gonna get blown out again as they couldn't stop rookie running, Saquon Barkley who scored two touchdowns in the first half. In the second half, it was a whole different story the Giants for some dumb reason only gave the ball to Barkley four times and only scored three points. Barkley ended up with 142 yards total yards (101 rush, 41 rec yards) with two touchdowns (1 Rush, 1 Rec). The Eagles defense was a big part of the come as they stepped up and stopped the Giants from getting in the end zone. Big props to the defense for actually stepping up.
