Last night, the 76ers won their 16th straight game in the regular season finale versus the Milwaukee Bucks. The Sixers lead from the opening tip and it wasn't even close! The biggest lead they had was 40 points, they scored 70 points before the Bucks even scored 30 points. Rookie first round (1st overall) pick, Markelle Fultz recorded a triple double becoming the youngest player in NBA history to record a triple double. Congrats to Fultz!
The night prior on Tuesday against the Atlanta Hawks, the Sixers broke the franchise record for longest winning streak which was previously held by the1982-83 Championship team who won 14 straight games. They want 7-0 without Joel Embiid during this winning streak, they couldn't win without him last season and earlier this season. This winning streak is really impressive as they beat three playoff teams in the Minnesota Timberwolves, Milwaukee Bucks and Cleveland Cavaliers; they haven't lost since March 13th versus the Indiana Pacers so nearly a month of winning basketball.
Finally, the Sixers got the third seed (over the Cleveland Cavaliers who got the fourth seed) in the East and will be playing the Miami Heat in round one of the playoff beginning on Saturday and game two will be on Monday night.
