We have an NFC East showdown on Thursday Night Football as the 2-3 Philadelphia Eagles look to end their two game losing streak as they go to MetLife Stadium to play the 1-4 New York "Football" Giants. Both teams are coming in desperation mode as each of their seasons could be slipping away with another loss. The Giants, lost 33-31 to the Carolina Panthers on a 63-yard game-winning field goal by Graham Gano. The Eagles lost, at home to the Minnesota Vikings, 23-21.

This is a must win for both teams as both need to win to keep up their chances of making the playoffs high. I think this will be a dog fight in the rain and it won't be easy for the Super-Bowl champs as they will struggle to score points but will find away to squeeze out a win on the road heading into a match-up with the Carolina Panthers next week at home. Jake Elliott will hit another game winning field against the Giants as he did last season when he hit a 61-yarder against them in week 3. Final Score: Eagles 13 - Giants 10; Eric
The Eagles do not look like a super bowl team anymore. They have now lost Jay Ajayi for the season with a torn ACL. I don’t like what I have seen from Wentz yet this year. The Giants I thought could rely on their defense this season, but they were exploited last week. The offense is high octane when Eli Manning is having a good day. Their run game is horrible, but Barkley surely can play a great receiving back. This game should be a very close one and is hard to call. I am going to take the upset here to kick off the week.
Final Score: Giants 26 - Eagles 23; Matt K
Mike's Pick: Giants 21 - Eagles 20
