It's another week of the NFL Sunday and we have some interesting games this week the 3-1 Chicago Bears who coming off a bye face the 3-2 Miami Dolphins in South Florida. The Jacksonville Jaguars who look to bounce back from their loss last week to the undefeated Kansas City Chiefs head to Big D to play the 2-3 Dallas Cowboys. Speaking of the Chiefs, they go to New England to play the 3-2 Patriots on Sunday Night Football.
Week 6 Bye Week Teams: New Orleans Saints and Detroit Lions
(1PM ET Games)
Seattle Seahawks, (2-3) vs. Oakland Raiders, (1-4), from Wembley Stadium in London, England:
In the first London game of the season the Seattle Seahawks and Oakland Raiders travel a long away to play each other. This game could go either way since both will be traveling from the west coast. I see the Seahawks winning a tight one and getting a field goal as time expires to even their record at 3-3. Final Score: Seahawks 15 - Raiders 13; Eric J
This game is actually in London at Wembley stadium for the first game in England this year. The Seahawks played a great game against the Rams last week and looked going throughout it. The Raiders have continued to look bad and will continue to do so with their roster.
Final Score: Seahawks 27 - Raiders 17; Matt K
Tampa Bay Buccaneers, (2-2) @ Atlanta Falcons, (1-4), (Fox):
The Bucs are coming off a bye and head into this divisional matchup with having losing two straight games. Jamies Winston will be getting his first start of the season after a three game suspension. He came in the second half two weeks ago against the Chicago Bears in a blowout loss. The Falcons, need a win to save their season so I see them winning a shootout at home.
Final Score: Falcons 41 - Buccaneers 31; Eric J
These two teams are two high powered offenses with no defense. The Buccaneers have the 31st ranked defense in the NFL and the Falcons the 28th ranked defense. This will be a shootout between Winston and Matt Ryan. Final Score: Falcons 36 - Buccaneers 33; Matt K
Carolina Panthers, (3-1) @ Washington Redskins, (2-2), (FOX):
Which Redskins team will show up this week? I believe the good Redskins team shows up and wins another game that people aren't expecting them to win.
Final Score: Redskins 23 - Panthers 17; (Upset Alert); Eric J
The Panthers have the best rushing offense in the NFL meanwhile the Redskins have the 5th overall ranked defense in the league. This game could be interesting if the Redskins actually show up unlike Monday night. Final Score: Panthers 24 - Redskins 20; Matt K
Indianapolis Colts, (1-4) @ New York Jets, (2-3)
The Jets are at home and have played well at home this season. The Colts on the other hand aren't a really good football team besides having Andrew Luck, they have a young running back core and nobody really at Wide Receiver besides T.Y. Hilton who is out with an injury, so I don't expect much offense from them going up against a pretty solid Jets' defense. Final Score: Jets 27 - Colts 13; Eric J
The Colts are flat out terrible. Their defense doesn’t do anything well. Their offense isn’t fully functioning because their offensive line still isn’t complete. Their WR’s and RB’s aren’t deep. Andrew Luck is getting slowly back to his old self but for now the team will struggle. The Jets last week impressed the hell out of me. They dominated the Broncos and showed once again what they have in Darnold. Interesting game for sure in this one. Final Score: Jets 23 - Colts 21; Matt K
Arizona Cardinals, (1-4) @ Minnesota Vikings, (2-2-1)
The Vikings, are coming off a much needed victory last week in Philly against the defending champions. They should win this easily but then again they did get blown out by the Buffalo Bills at home so who knows. Final Score: Vikings 40 - Cardinals 10; Eric J
Well the Cardinals finally got a win last week, but their offense won’t be good enough to handle the Vikings defense. The Cardinals have issues to solve and this week will be ugly for them. The Vikings offense is going to exploit the Cardinals defense and show they are a superior team.
Final Score: Vikings 31 - Cardinals 13; Matt K
Pittsburgh Steelers, (2-2-1) at Cincinnati Bengals, (4-1)
The Bengals win a shootout in overtime in this AFC North battle as they go to 5-1 on the season.
Final Score: Bengals 30 - Steelers 27 OT; Eric J
The Steelers actually looked good last week and if they are back to the team we expected to see they could win this division. This game will be massive though because if they start the division games 0-2-1 this year they will be out of the division race realistically. The Bengals are phenomenal. Mixon is back, their offense is high flying around him, and their defense is great. The Bengals right now look like the best team in the AFC North. Final Score: Bengals 20 - Steelers 17; Matt K
Los Angeles Chargers, (3-2) at Cleveland Browns, (2-2-1)
Eric's Final Score: Chargers 34 - Browns 20; Eric J
The Chargers are a sneaky good team. Melvin is an elite RB and Rivers is still playing at an elite QB level. The Chargers 2 loses are to the Chiefs and Rams, so they are nothing to worry about. The Browns defense really showed up against the Ravens last week. Their defense can win them some tough games if it keeps playing like this. Mayfield I still haven’t been fully impressed by.
Final Score: Chargers 29 - Browns 20; Matt K
Buffalo Bills, (2-3) @ Houston Texans, (2-3)
Eric's Final Score: Texans 23 - Bills 20; Eric J
Alright Buffalo we see you. The Bills team we saw last week was incredibly good. As we have learned though rookie QB’s have ups and downs, and the Texans might be that down again. The Texans are coming for that division title and if they win this week they remain a game behind with the roster to pull it off after a 0-3 start. Keke Coutee is being overlooked by a lot of fans. Don’t make that mistake, keep an eye on this kid. Final Score: Texans 27 - Bills 19; Matt K
Chicago Bears, (3-1) @ Miami Dolphins, (3-2)
Eric's Final Score: Dolphins 39 - Bears 34; Eric J
Oh boy this one is tough for me. I think the Bears are way overrated being hyped because of the play of one defensive player. Their offense hasn’t really been impressive the last time we saw them everyone freaked out, but they beat the Bucs defense, lets come back to planet earth guys. The Dolphins are starting to fall back to earth and they could be crashing hard if they lose this week.
Final Score: Bears 23 - Dolphins 17; Matt K
4:05PM ET, Los Angeles Rams, (5-0) @ Denver Broncos, (2-3), (FOX):
The Rams are the best all-around team in the NFL and will head into Mile High with a 5-0 record and will come out still undefeated at 6-0. The Broncos will keep this game close but will come up short at the end and lose by ten points. Final Score: Rams 36 - Broncos 26; Eric J
The Rams are one of the top teams in the league. Their secondary does get exposed at times, but their offense can make up for it. The only way a team can beat the Rams is if they slow down that offense. The Broncos on the other hand have been falling fast and Keenum has been underwhelming. Vance Joseph might be part of the problem, we will see if the Broncos are going to turn around things this week.
Final Score: Rams 34 - Broncos 20; Matt K
Mike's Final Score: Broncos 21 - Rams 20, (Upset Alert)
4:25PM ET, Baltimore Ravens, (3-2) @ Tennessee Titans, (3-2), (CBS):
This will be a hard fought defensive battle with not much scoring. There will be several turnovers but neither gets in the end zone as this will be a field goal battle. Titans get a game-winning field goal at the end. Final Score: Titans 15 - Ravens 12; Eric J
This game will be a defense battle. These two teams have great defenses that are very close to elite. The difference will come down to their offense which I believe the Ravens have a better offense and will win the game with it. If it doesn’t come down to offense it will come down to Tucker vs. Succop and we know who the better kicker is. Final Score: Ravens 16 - Titans 10; Matt K
Mike's Final Score: Titans 10 - Ravens 9
4:25PM ET, Jacksonville Jaguars, (3-2) @ Dallas Cowboys, (2-3), (CBS):
The Dallas Cowboys have been struggling to score points this season and that will continue as they will struggle to score against an elite defense. Blake Bortles, will have a better game than Dak Prescott but that ain't saying very much is it as both aren't really good. Jaguars go into Big D and get their fourth win.
Final Score: Jaguars 24 - Cowboys 10; Eric J
The Jaguars lost a tough game against the Chiefs incredible offense. Their defense didn’t really show up though and that is quite a concern for this team. The Cowboys though have no WR’s and they won’t win games until they get them. No WR’s against this defense, they have no chance.
Final Score: Jaguars 31 - Cowboys 17; Matt K
Mike's Final Score: Jaguars 35 - Cowboys 7
Sunday Night Football, 8:20PM ET, (NBC)
Kansas City Chiefs, (5-0) @ New England Patriots, (3-2):
