Welcome to the first official Top 15 Power Rankings report for the 2019 regular season! We are already 10 days into the season and there has been plenty of excitement already for almost every team through their first 7, 8, 9, or 10 games. So far this season, we have seen some players emerge that many of us likely didn't expect to emerge, plenty of home runs, and a continuation of MLB's efforts to continue marketing the game by focusing on the games biggest names.

The 2019 MLB season is set to begin this morning, Wednesday, March 20th, at 5:30 a.m. With the traditional Opening Series about to be underway later today, in Tokyo, Japan, the Seattle Mariners and Oakland Athletics will begin to face one another in a two-game series. The remaining Opening Day games are scheduled for next Thursday, March 28th, with all 30 teams playing.

Time for Part II of our "2019 MLB Projected Standings" series - a series that strives to predict where each team will fall in the standings, within their respective division, this coming season. As is always the case, this is simply a fun prediction and not an exact science in any measure because a multitude of things can happen to the fortune of any team that might not be evident on paper.

Next up on the docket in the "Top 10 Right Now" series is centerfield. Centerfield is a position that used to have a tremendous amount of depth, but is a position where there is an immense level of talent at the top before things sort of decline towards the latter portion of the list. That's not to discredit the players towards the bottom because all of them provide a unique skill set to their team or the potential to become even better moving forward
