Luis Castillo has been an integral part of the Cincinnati Reds starting rotation so far this year and a big reason why the Reds starting rotation leads the National League in ERA (3.36) entering play on Tuesday. In addition to leading the National League in ERA, the Reds starting rotation ranks fourth with an overall strikeouts-per-9 rate of (9.84) and lead the National League with a cumulative Opponent Batting Average Against of (.221) heading into play on Tuesday.

The 2019 MLB season is set to begin this morning, Wednesday, March 20th, at 5:30 a.m. With the traditional Opening Series about to be underway later today, in Tokyo, Japan, the Seattle Mariners and Oakland Athletics will begin to face one another in a two-game series. The remaining Opening Day games are scheduled for next Thursday, March 28th, with all 30 teams playing.

Time for Part II of our "2019 MLB Projected Standings" series - a series that strives to predict where each team will fall in the standings, within their respective division, this coming season. As is always the case, this is simply a fun prediction and not an exact science in any measure because a multitude of things can happen to the fortune of any team that might not be evident on paper.

Moving forward into the next part of our "Top 25 Players Right Now" series, we'll be focusing on players 11-20. There certainly are many worthy candidates of being mentioned in this category, but as is the case with every rankings list, not everyone can be included because there are only so many spots. As you probably saw with the first installment of the series, you could debate all day long about who belonged and didn't belong, but when you look at the stats of those players overall, the rankings are well deserved
